Turn-Key Professional Installation & Rigging Package To guarantee optimal offshore performance and activate Honda Marine's official True 5-Year Factory Warranty, this engine cannot be sold loose in a crate for DIY unboxing. Honda strictly requires all V6 high-power outboards to be professionally unboxed, rigged, fluid-serviced, and registered by an authorized dealer technician to validate factory coverage. Our dealership provides a seamless, water-ready handover process that includes: Official Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI): Complete factory-certified heavy-duty mechanical checklist and immediate electronic serial registration into the Honda Marine warranty database. Fluid Service: Transom gearcase check and the massive crankcase filled to exact capacity with premium Honda Marine FC-W 4-Stroke Engine Oil. Honda OEM Installation Hardware: Structural high-tensile transom mounting bolts, nuts, washers, and factory heavy-gauge battery leads. Pre-Handover Test Run: Full system digital diagnostics verification up to operating temperature, including iST drive-by-wire calibration, charging circuit verification, and power trim hydraulic system checks. Custom Rigging Options (Tailored to Your Boat) Because high-power digital V6 outboards are rigged onto a wide variety of offshore vessels, catamarans, and large sport hulls, accessories are sold separately so we can customize the helm to your exact needs: Propeller Selection Not Included: Propellers are sold separately. We will custom-spec the ideal Honda stainless steel propeller pitch based on your hull type and typical boat load. iST Helm Controls & Harnesses: Choose between premium digital side-mount control boxes, top-mount single binnacles, or dual-binnacle sets for multi-engine arrays. Instrumentation & Electronics: Fully NMEA 2000 compliant for seamless connectivity into your existing helm multi-function fish finders, radar networks, GPS displays, and digital gauge layouts.
