The buyer must add 1.06 quarts (1.0 Liter) of NMMA Certified FC-W 4-stroke marine engine oil (SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40) before pulling the rope for the first time. No Battery Required: Because of the advanced battery-less EFI management system, this manual-recoil pull-start motor needs zero external battery connections to operate.
